Safe Harbor (South), Safe Harbor, PA

A sport climbing area near the Susquehanna River. Probably the best sport climbing in PA. The climbing area is a result of a railroad cut. The walls face west and are in the sun most of the day. It is reasonably comfortable to climb during the winter time on a sunny day in the 40s or higher.

The Safe Harbor southern walls in Conestoga Township are open after many years of access issues.

There is parking on Green Hill Rd, near the tunnel. Hike up to the rail trail above the tunnel. Do not hike along the active railroad tracks. Hike northwest along the rail trail 15 to 20 mins to get to the climbing walls. Google map
There is also parking north of the crag on Powerhouse Road. Need to get more details on this location.

The routes range from 5.7 to 5.13. The number of routes per grade is roughly:
GradeCount
5.76
5.85
5.910
5.1021
5.1111
5.1211
5.133
